Lao Cha Tou is formed during the fermentation process of puer tea. In the process, tea masters would flip and stir the tea leaves and as a result, the leaves would clotted and formed stone-like pieces. Lao Cha Tou tastes smooth and bittersweet with a profound red dates taste. Because the tea leaves are tightly clotted together, it could be steep numerous time and still taste awesome.
Brewing Guide
- First, heat the tea wares. Add in the suitable amount of tea, normally between 6 - 8g or according to personal preference.
- Next, use boiled water (95°C) to steep it for 20 to 30 seconds and it is ready to served.
Keep the tea in cool/room temperature and stay away from sunlight, moisture and outdoor.
